The UIC School of Design will host its annual Virtual Career Event during the 2024 spring semester over two consecutive Fridays, 02/16 and 02/23, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm CST.

This online recruitment event connects our hard-working and talented students (current and past) to professionals from around the U.S. through interviews via Zoom sessions. Discover the next wave of designers who can bring substantial value to your organization. We have over 90 students and alumni registered for this event, representing the following degrees:

  • BDes Graphic Design

  • BDes Industrial Design

  • BA Design Studies

  • MDes Graphic Design

  • MDes Industrial Design

Kindly be aware that this year's event is exclusively tailored for organizations actively seeking candidates for paid internships and job opportunities. Utilize this opportunity to interview a diverse pool of students and alumni.

*Note that our event has a tax-deductible registration fee of $150. 100% of the funds support future career events and professional development (e.g., workshops, professional org fees, etc.).

For Registered Professionals:

Employers who register will be given advanced access to our online student showcase to review participating student and alumni resumes and work samples starting on January 29.

Registered companies will access “All Student Work” on this website to schedule interviews with candidates of their choice during the event dates and times. The students furnish Zoom links for all meetings.
